Evergreen Knoll is seeking a Staff Nurse to work approximately 20 hours/week. The Staff Nurse teams with the Director of Health Services to accomplish:

• new admissions and discharges.

• order, prepare, and/or administer medications.

• transcribe and assist with implementation of physician orders.

• monitor resident health including periodic blood pressure, weight, and toenail care.

• assist with the training and supervision of direct care staff.

• share on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.

  Our Staff Nurse must:

• have a heart for seniors.

• have a solid general nursing background, with geriatric experience preferred, but not required.

• have good judgment, leadership, and problem-solving skills, be dependable and able to work with minimal direct supervision once trained.

• understand, read, write, and speak English.

• be authorized by the State of Minnesota to work, unsupervised, with our residents as determined by a background study.

• be a currently licensed RN.
