Role Summary: Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Representative is a key member of the GLAS sales team. This role is responsible for prospecting new accounts and growing existing customer accounts that are not actively managed. This is a proactive sales role requiring this person to cold call potential new customers and regularly contact existing customers through phone calls and other communication methods. This will include engaging with the customer in a friendly and polite manner, assessing the customer's needs, answering customer questions, and being knowledgeable of GLAS products and services. Exciting work you will do: The essential duties and responsibilities of the Account Representative position will consist of, but are not limited to, the following: Reach out to current or potential customers to sell Kendall Group or GLAS products using various forms of communication, including phone calls, email, etc. Close sales, provide exceptional customer service, and become an intricate component of our progressive team environment Own and develop opportunities passed on from marketing, inside sales, outside sales, national accounts, or other internal sources Increase orders by suggesting related items or alternate products explaining features and benefits, and checking customer's buying history Manage estimation of quotes, answer questions about products, credit terms, warranties, and delivery expectations Work cross-functionally with marketing and product expert teams to provide customers with relevant marketing material and support Act as a liaison between various Kendall Group or GLAS resources to ensure timely resolution of all account issues, including but not limited to, project delays, warranty and repair issues Keep CRM and sales execution systems up to date with account, contact and opportunity pipeline information Respond to incoming calls, faxes, and e-mail messages from internal and external customers in a prompt manner Stay knowledgeable on current, new and evolving product offerings Maintain quality service by adhering to Kendall Group policies, procedures, and standards Perform other duties as assigned Competencies you possess: Service Excellence Results, Action Oriented Accountability and Responsibility Understanding Others, Listening Problem Solving Teamwork and collaboration Priority Setting What you'll need: Work Experience: 2 years' of tele-sales or inside selling experience Required Educatio
