ABM Industries GX Quality Assurance Coordinator in Flushing, New York

Overview

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for ensuring improvements in safety, security, quality, productivity, client relationships, and customer service are correctly implemented.

  • Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.

  • Ensures compliance with regulations by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.

  • Prepares for audit by researching materials, formulating a plan of action, and communicating to stakeholders.

  • Conduct daily on-site, Quality Assurance inspections in compliance with contractual specifications and customer’s expectation.

  • Communicates audit progress and findings by preparing reports, providing information in meetings.

  • Provides management reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing management information.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with co-workers, dispatchers, supervisors, managers, clients, etc.

  • Helps instill a culture of safety, security, and quality and deliver measurable results

  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SALARY: $23.50/hr.

  • The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid state issued driver’s license

  • Some college course work or equivalent experience preferred

  • 2 years customer service experience • Aviation experience preferred

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

  • At least one year Guest Experience Ambassador experience, with good work performance, ethics, and attendance

  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming – must be able to keep unform immaculate at all times when guest facing

  • Advanced communication and relationship building skills – able to build relationships with internal and external partners alike using experience and advanced service techniques

  • A collaborative player who can work and communicate effectively as part of a team

  • A problem solver who can work both independently and as a team to solve issues and rapidly deal with changing operational circumstances

  • Must be computer literate with a basic but solid understanding of Microsoft platforms, Outlook, Word, and Excel
