The Prop Buyer is responsible for sourcing,purchasing,and managing inventory of raw materials,parts,and packaging for our Logan plant production,as well as sourcing and purchasing parts and finished goods from overseas partners. This role is also responsible for developing and executing inbound freight planning. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills,attention to detail,and the ability to build and manage supplier relationships effectively.

*Responsibilities *

Plan and execute the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials,parts,and packaging for our client s Logan plant.

Manage vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of services.

Collaborate with Product Development and Manufacturing to ensure redundancy for key materials and parts.

Evaluate safety stock levels and adjust as necessary to ensure material availability.

Control and manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL) and oversee supplier selection and evaluation.

Manage product cost variations to ensure margin sustainability.

Ensure inventory levels meet production and customer order requirements.

*Qualifications *

Education: Degree or 5+ years relevant experience in purchasing or operations.

Experience: 2+ years with a degree,or 5+ years relevant experience in purchasing or operations.

Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective vendor relationships.

Global logistic experience and understanding of import paperwork.

Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication,presentation,and computer skills.

Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
