Grade 7EPosition Description:The Office of Undergraduate Medical Education is seeking a Program Manager I. This position is critical in managing the curriculum of the School of Medicine including a curriculum management program, an evaluation program, and a testing program. These programs are essential for compliance with the medical school's accrediting body, the Liaison Committee on Medical Education. The individual that holds this position must have superb organizational skills and be an excellent communicator. They must have outstanding problem-solving skills, be flexible, and work well under pressure.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and manage Leo DaVinci Education, branded RedMed, curriculum management database including acquiring and compiling essential curriculum information and the curriculum schedule. Serves as an expert to train and/or troubleshoot problems as they arise.Manage official grade books for the seven required clerkships for the 160 third year medical students. Ensure all third year requirements and grades are submitted in a timely fashion. This is critical to the School of Medicine's LCME accreditation status.Supervise preclinical exams and quizzes in ExamSoft for first and second year medical students. Manage the ExamSoft testing process including exam creation, administration and delivery, technical support, and maintaining a large question bank. Serve as a proctor during exams and quizzes for the medical students.Manage preclinical student evaluations in New Innovations and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Train staff and faculty on system as needed.Lead and direct the third year clinical orientation course. In addition, work with local hospital coordinators to create electronic medical record (EMR) accounts for medical students. Schedule all necessary training for rising third year students for the medical school and each hospital site they will be rotating at. Assist in obtaining EMR accounts for all visiting students. Serve as the liaison between the School of Medicine and the four different local hospitals to ensure the medical students have the access they need while at the hospitals. Preferred Qualifications:Four years experience in Medical Education Curriculum Management. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
