Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Entry clerk. This person will be required to work in multiple systems and be proficient on different softwares.

Job responsibilities of a Data Entry Clerk may include:

• Entering and updating information into relevant databases

• Ensuring data is backed up

• Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered

• Checking completed data entries for mistakes or inaccuracies

• Creating data backups

• Transcribing documents

• Testing new database systems and software updates

• Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to optimize retrieval

• Handling additional duties from time to time.

  Requirements

Qualifications and skills typically required for this role are:

• Excellent computer and typing skills

• Detailed oriented

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently

• Good understanding of data confidentiality principles

• Familiarity with MS Office and data entry software.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

This position does not typically require advanced education, but high-end typing skills and on the job experience can enhance job performance.
