The STEM Specialist is responsible to help low-income and/or first-generation college students complete high school and ensure they are academically ready for college. The STEM Specialist monitors coursework,grades and test scores,mentors,tutors,and instructs students in improving necessary skills for high school and post-secondary education completion. Sets up and supervises community service,enrichment activities,and college tours. Assists College Skills Specialist and Program Director in planning and implementing a six-week residential summer program.
