As a Payments Solutions Manager in the Corporate & eCommerce Sales team, you are an integral part of a team that defines and configures complex solutions for key client relationships and prospect opportunities in partnership with Sales. You are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer by understanding their needs and communicating feedback to the Product teams.
Job responsibilities
Leads solutioning and strategic sales for new and prospective Tech/Fintech clients. Drive the adoption of new and existing product offerings and capabilities while defining and configuring optimal solutions that address clients' needs and objectives
Serves as a subject matter expert on a defined set of Payments Solutions with a deep understanding of our clients' needs and current Tech and Fintech industry trends
Supports Sales in pricing, pipeline planning, account planning, and upskilling the team on product knowledge by collaborating on training and collateral materials
Engages with client teams to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap
Identifying new business opportunities in rapidly evolving market, partnering closely with internal stakeholders in managing all pipeline activities around this; ensure similar sales focus in more traditional industries as they move into eCommerce/Tech space
Coordinate with Sales, Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking Sales for proactive client engagement; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations aligned with Technology, Media & Telecom growth strategy
Engage with clients to better understand pain points and refine solutions while regularly communicating critical client feedback to Product teams to inform the strategic product roadmap
Partner with sales & product management to create compelling segment specific value propositions for solutioning and proposals that will also drive marketing efforts
Enable broader sales teams through sharing of best practices and scaling up Technology, Media & Telecom knowledge
Represent product offering and value proposition in industry events such as Money 20/20, AFP and JP Morgan organized events such as Client advisory forums
Coordinate with Solutions Heads from other regions to ensure global client coverage focusing both on in-bound and out-bound client opportunities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in problem-solving across multiple teams and a cluster of products
Extensive experience working in a sales cycle and engaging with clients on a regular basis
Experience modifying preconfigured solutions to meet complex problems
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed and complex organization
Deep knowledge of transaction banking, cross-border payments, FX and Channels, merchant acquiring, and the evolving wholesale and retail eCommerce payments space
Executive-level presence necessary to lead discussions and advise C-suite client leaders, understanding their most complex operational and financial pain points and developing holistic solutions to address these areas
Ability to synthesize large amounts of complex information into crisp recommendations; present and defend recommendations to a variety of senior audiences
Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client facing skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to forge strong internal partnerships
Able to work under direct portfolio growth targets, in a competitive environment
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Experience supporting the commercialization of new solutions
Prior experience in Fintech
