Provide accurate and efficient engineering service to achieve project teams' goals. Produce accurate and error free drawings and calculations by working together with the Project Manager and obtaining scope of work, design criteria and budget. Gain a complete understanding of the structural systems to be used. Become familiar with architectural drawings and other consultant's drawings. Coordinate with the Project Drafter to draw required details, find typical details, coordinate plan and detail changes. Develop structural model using computer aided design software and generate calculation package. Reger to applicable building codes for analysis procedures and requirements. Create structural drawings with required details, coordinate plan and detail changes with project Drafter. Visit construction sites and write observation reports. Responsible for deadlines and keeping Project Manager and Drafter informed of project status and deadlines. Make and complete project commitments. Respond to RFIs, phone calls, e-mails, and shop drawing reviews within 24 hours. Effectively communicate with clients when required after consulting with project manager.

Requires Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and background in structural engineering, familiarity with computer aided design software, ability to prepare drawings and calculations, understanding of structural systems. Occasional domestic travel to client's construction sites (less than 5% of the time). MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE (2) Worksite: Salt Lake City, Utah.
