We are currently seeking a professional and dynamic full-time assistant manager for our Seattle, WA location. Applicants must be flexible to work varying schedules: holidays, nights, and/or weekends. Please be sure to include a complete resume when applying. Job Description: Deliver and expect compliance of all PWM required sales and operational policies and initiatives. Support the company expectation and lead by example to achieve sales and profitability through sales generation, customer service, expense control, visual presentation, and inventory management. Partner with store manager to develop business and marketing strategies to increase store sales and profitability. Provide leadership, training and development; retain strong sales teams, provide positive feedback and coaching, redirect, retrain and manage performance. Contributes to control expenses through promotional and pricing compliance, loss prevention, employee retention and following general store expense budgets. Consistent written and verbal communication with Store Manager and Area Manager and other departmental groups as needed regarding stores performance. Complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures store team is compliant. Other tasks as assigned. Job Expectations: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Support store manager in effectively plan, organize, delegate, evaluate and provide feedback. Effective problem solving skills. Meets deadlines when manager is not present. Understands and drives store statistical performance including, but not limited to, UPT, ADS, conversion within store. Proven ability to communicate effectively with store employees, management and customers. Excellent listening and writing skills. Strong leadership skills. Maintain calm and poised in stressful situations. Know when to partner for support. Solution orientated, bringing challenges to a positive conclusion. Identify root causes, and partner with store manager to find solutions. Job Qualifications: 5 years retail sales and customer service experience including a minimum of 2 years store supervision 2 years of higher education or equivalent training preferred, not required Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision System Qualifications: Microsoft office including excel, publisher and word Retail inventory software and order processing systems Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores Physical Requirements and Working Environment: Flexible schedule with nights and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
