As a Project Engineer II, you will imagine, design, and develop products and systems as part of a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will collaborate across Honeywell Aircraft Fuel Systems engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of talented professionals whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs. Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies
Apply engineering knowledge, tools, and principals to develop/improve aircraft brake systems
Enhance your engineering skills by working with world-class mentors to dream solutions to modern problems
Works under the direction of Lead Project Engineer
Assignments are geared to develop project management and technical skills and to build in-depth product knowledge
Work closely with peers and team members, customers, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met and completed in a timely manner
Supports technical projects or phases of projects involving the design and development of new products or improvement of core products and/or processes
Plans work packages and develops cost, schedule, and milestones for small to medium product development activities
Interface with technical leadership, program manager, and customers
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited program, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from an accredited program
1-2 years’ experience in applying advanced design, development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex engineering projects
1-2 years’ experience managing engineering projects autonomously and without supervision

Demonstrated mastery of design tools appropriate for the field (Pyton, Matlab, Excel, Labview, etc.)
Demonstrated mastery experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Mathcad / Matlab, etc.)
Demonstrated previous program experience and success
