JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 20783 Position Title: Assistant Professor of Computing and New Media Technologies (2 Positions) TTC Title and Code: Assistant Professor (FA040) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campuss Supervisor: Cynthia McCabe, Assistant Dean, School of Mathematics, Computing, Physics and Astronomy Position Summary: This is a tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the Department of Computing and New Media Technologies at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point involving teaching core and advanced undergraduate courses in Applied Computing, Computer Information Systems, and/or Web Development. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, including information security and information assurance Artificial intelligence and data science Computer networking and server administration, including cloud infrastructure and DevOps/DevSecOps There may be future opportunities to teach courses at the graduate level in Cybersecurity, Data Science, and IT Management. The candidate is expected to demonstrate professional growth, an active research agenda, and university/professional service commensurate with a teaching-oriented department. Candidates with a Master\'s degree should also have five years of professional experience in one or more of the related fields.
