We are looking for a talented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in York, SC.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Supervise up to 16 people in our shipping/ receiving, production, and kitting areas.
Needs to have inventory control knowledge.
Needs to be able to learn how to ship and receive in the system as a backup.
Needs excellent problem-solving and team building teams skills with minimal supervision.
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.

Warehouse Inventory Control - Manages physical inventory utilizing inventory control methodologies to maintain inventory and meet customer expectations.
Warehouse Operations - Utilizes warehousing tools, systems, and methodologies to meet defined metrics for inbound and outbound operations of a warehouse.
Mode Selection - Evaluates and selects appropriate transportation mode and equipment type by lane through shipment volume analysis against business requirements to provide optimal shipping method (balance cost, quality and time).
Education and Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires 1-2 years of supervisor work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.
Automotive industry preferred
Manufacturing Warehous experience required
Driving forklift experience required

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
