Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Secret Zero Trust Engineer to sit in Aberdeen, MD in support of a government customer. The ideal individual will be in charge of planning, designing, and customizing technical specifications for microsegmentation strategies aimed at enhancing the organization's zero trust posture. You will also develop and implement robust security measures to effectively safeguard the network infrastructure in dynamic and mission-critical operational environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles as it relates to network infrastructure.

Compensation: $65/hr to $97/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Active Secret

Bachelors and 10+ years of experience

Experience supporting Tactical Networks

Proven experience in planning, designing, and implementing microsegmentation strategies in complex network environments in order to enhance the zero trust posture for on-prem networks

Background supporting a Research based environment

Strong understanding of security technologies and tools to include firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions Masters or PHD

Experience with Predictive Intelligence Networking (PIN) principles

Experience with Software Defined Networking null
