The IT Business Partner, Senior Manager, is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with Regional business leaders, like HR, Finance and others. This role will work closely with the business to ensure consistency in the relationship between business and IT. This role will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise to department heads and process owners in identifying opportunities for multi-year technology roadmaps. The IT Business Partner, Senior Manager works to understand, analyze, and provide solutions for complex business needs and processes, and to act as a liaison between the business and technical teams. They establish and improve business processes and may mentor business analysts.

Is this you?

You have at least 10 years of professional work experience in IT/IS, business consultancy and/or business discipline. Having experience with HR stakeholders, processes and systems would be an advantage.

You speak Fluent English A key part of this role will be to work with international stakeholders across the world.

You have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred.

You Love a Challenge A self-started who has a high degree of situational awareness and ability to navigate complex issues and channels to successfully deliver solutions in partnership with business and IT leadership teams.

What will you do at Stryker?

  • Focus on European Payroll and Workforce Management (WFM) business partnership and program management in partnership with other IT teams - will have dotted line accountability into Global HR IT Business Partner for duration of this multi-year program.

  • Improve the business partner function through best practices, process management, mentoring, and education.

  • Clearly communicate and represent any IT activities with high level business stakeholders.

  • Partner with business and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements.

  • Define tangible use cases and requirements that align desired technology output to objectives.

  • Responsible to assess applications and vendors against business strategy and requirements.

  • May be responsible to manage internal analysts or external contractors in support of key projects.

  • Responsible to manage processes, set direction, and manage the technology roadmap for a business unit.

  • Manage and monitor scope with business, IT and vendor teams in a way that meets project scope and budget goals - ensure change requests are effectively managed, impact analysis is completed, and key decisions are document and communicated

  • Manage monthly or quarterly release processes on existing systems, prioritizing changes, and ensuring good quality requirements and testing.

  • Ensure business has a successful Organizational Change Management plan when implementing new technologies.
