Anoka-Hennepin Schools Bus Paraeducators in Anoka, Minnesota

Bus Paraeducators Part-Time - AM shifts / PM shifts - 3 to 6 hours a day Bus Paras assist with a variety of physical and emotional needs of students while being bused. Duties include: Ensure the safety and well-being of students while being bused. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be physically working on/in bus. Ability to lift and move students. Ability to supervise students. Ability to exercise judgement and make decisions appropriate to students' needs. Ability/desire to work effectively with students with disabilities. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Rate of Pay: $16.50/hour, $18.10/hour with AA/AAS degree, $18.90/hour with BA degree; includes paid holidays and sick days Additional information: call 763-506-1131 or 763-506-1130 Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis.
