The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, repairing equipment malfunctions, and implementing preventive maintenance measures to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

salary: $62,000 - $74,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing the upfit of trucks, as well as fabricate, repair, maintain and install steel items and equipment

• The assembly must be completed according to the goals set by the Production Manager

• Meeting production schedule deadlines as designated by the Production Manager

• Performing quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards

• Identifying product defects and documenting them

• Performing all necessary documentation in a timely manner

• Conferring with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems

• Reworking and/or repairing assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes

• Performing all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Activities will include both sitting and standing

• These activities will occur in the production areas

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends

Skills

• Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

• Electronic Maintenance (3 years of experience is required)

• Electrical (1 year of experience is preferred)

• welding (3 years of experience is required)

• General Maintenance
