Position: Operations Manager (Rotational Molding) Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager with expertise in rotational molding to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rotational molding process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The Operations Manager position has overall responsibility in their assigned operations to ensure our strategic plan is executed and our stated quality objectives are met. Responsibilities: 1.Production Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the rotational molding facility, including scheduling, production planning, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands. 2. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Develop and improve quality processes as needed. 3. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards. 4. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the production team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members. 5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the rotational molding operation. Implement changes and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity. 6. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and control measures to ensure adequate raw materials and finished goods are available to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory. 7. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate preventative maintenance programs for rotational molding equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed. 8. Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components at competitive prices. Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize supply chain efficiency. 9. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotational molding or plastics manufacturing. 3. Strong technical knowledge of rotational molding processes, equipment, and materials highly preferred. 4. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. 6. Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and practices. 7. Proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems. 8. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
