Position Description

HVAC Project Apprentices support a lead technician or company supervisor in the repair and replacement activities associated with HVAC work in a commercial and industrial environment which may or may not be in a conditioned environment.

The Project Apprentice will often be at our customer’s locations representing Engineered Cooling Services and therefore must be courteous and respectful at all times, works under limited supervision following standardized practices and or methods to complete daily task.

  Qualifications

  The following qualifications along with individuals previous work experience will be considered by the company when evaluating applicants:

• 18 years of age or older

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer skills

• Must be able to lift 75lbs

• Must be able to bend and stoop frequently

• Experience using basic hand tools preferred

• Must be able to work in hot and humid or cold environments

• Commercial/Industrial construction experience a plus

• Have and maintain a professional image

• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required

• Excellent communication skills
