The Substance Use Mechanisms, Motivations, and Interventions for Teens (SUMMIT) Lab invites applications for a lab manager. The lab manager will support research on the initiation, escalation, and treatment of adolescent substance use. The lab manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SUMMIT lab including the execution of a National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism study of adolescents and their caregivers who are participating in treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. The lab manager will assist in grant submissions, IRB proposals, participant recruitment, and data management. There will also be opportunities to author/co-author publications and presentations. Individuals who enjoy working with adolescents and their caregivers, are highly organized, enjoy solving problems, can work independently, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative lab setting are strongly encouraged to apply.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree (in psychology or a related field); and strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Desired qualifications include prior experience working with adolescents, with real- time monitoring data collection (e.g., EMA, passive mobile sensing, wearable biosensors); clinical populations; and IRB protocol submissions. Strong quantitative and technical skills are also desirable, including experience with data cleaning and statistical analysis in R and/or Python. Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years' work experience required.
