Kelly Services is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Braselton, GA. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong background in industrial maintenance and a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery.

Pay Rate: $24-$26 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm to 10pm, must be able to train on first shift for two months, 7am to 3:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.

• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

• Troubleshoot faulty machinery and make necessary repairs.

• Troubleshoot PLC and identify inputs and outputs in Ladder Logic.

• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions and irregularities.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Document maintenance and repairs in GURU.

• Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree (A.S) in Industrial Maintenance with 2 years of experience or Certificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years of experience.

• Currently licensed electrician.

• Must have your own tools

• Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills.

• Experience with PLC and HVAC systems.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals.

• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet software.

• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including lifting and moving items over 40 pounds.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.

• Ability to lift and move items over 40 pounds.

• Excellent vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.

• Loud noise level in the work environment and job sites.
