Adecco US, Inc. Set Up Mechanic II in Buffalo, New York

Job Title: Industrial Mechanic/Technician

Shifts Available: 1st Shift (7 am - 3 pm), 2nd Shift (3 pm - 11 pm), 3rd Shift (11 pm - 7 am)

Pay Rate: Up to $34/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Use hand and power tools to repair or replace defective parts, materials, or equipment.

  • Mount, align, and bolt fixtures, dies, and welding heads onto fabricating machines.

  • Perform startup and shutdown procedures for equipment.

  • Adjust and set controls to ensure proper machine operation and timing.

  • Run sample products, examine samples for defects, and make necessary adjustments to meet production requirements.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled, completing routine maintenance of equipment.

  • Assist technicians in troubleshooting mechanical devices by observing them in operation, dismantling, examining, and inspecting machines and parts for repair purposes.

  • Train utility mechanics in minor adjustments, repairs, and operations.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic/Technician.

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance.

  • Familiarity with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications.

  • Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.
