Test Vehicle Operator 2nd Shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate prototype or experimental vehicles under test conditions to obtain performance data

• Drive vehicles over closed circuit test courses to perform specified tests, observe and gather data from vehicles under test, and record readings from installed test equipment

• Perform routine inspection and maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles and batteries producing related written reports and logs

• Perform set up and maintenance of test course

• Perform other duties as assigned

Work Hours Monday thru Friday:

• Training required for 1-4 months on 1st Shift: 7:00AM – 3:30PM

• Regularly scheduled work hours on 2nd Shift: 3:00PM – 11:30PM

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Basic math skills and computer skills

• Ability to perform data entry and operate menu driven devices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of material, and detailed written instructions

• Ability to use basic hand tools, power tools, and test meters
