Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a direct hire Engineering/ Electronics Technician who will work in a mechanical shop in Tampa. Ideal person would maybe had a field background, but not want to travel daily anymore.

  Day to day operations of the shop

  Completing Mechanical work on breaker repair and switch gears (take apart, put back together, test)

  Managing the shop, repair, ship in and out

  480 voltage and under

  Larger breakers (medium voltage 34-5)

  Could travel out of state to supplement the field engineers (80-90% in the shop)

  Could use a company vehicle for travel

Skills and Requirements

• 3 years of Industrial circuit breaker experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Technology and with minimum of 2 years of field experience

-Experience in the repair and refurbishment of LV and MV circuit breakers (OEM equipment such as Siemens, GE, ABB, SquareD, Multilin relays, and Schweitzer Relays). Westinghouse or old GE breakers

-Technical skills in testing of power distribution and delivery to include Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Breakers, Switchgear, Relays and Transformers

-Experience Power Delivery/ Distribution equipment in respective area; Power Delivery includes transformers, switchgear, OCBs, Circuit Breakers, busways, UPS, ATS, PLCs, Relays, Power Management Controls systems and other Power related equipment & controls PLC experience is a plus null
