/We are seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to perform the following:/
The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the recruiting strategy for positions within the United States and Canada. Responsible for the overall results of the Talent Acquisition function including processes, guidelines, team leadership, vendor management, business partnership, innovation, and metrics for the function.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Acquisition • Partners with human resources business partners, business leaders, and line supervisors to understand talent needs, devise creative sourcing strategies, and work with a recruiting team to build a pipeline of talent • Sets goals, manages activity, and helps to deliver expected results against service level agreements, objectives, and hiring needs. Develops and alters strategies to drive performance to a higher level • Through innovative recruiting practices, ultimately impacts business objectives by locating high quality talent • Serves as in-house expert on recruiting strategies and activities, including strategies related to locating passive candidates, using social media platforms, and university relations • Ensures the recruiting team uses a consistent hiring process. Continuously monitors the process and drives toward efficiency and effectiveness • Communicates results regularly to stakeholders, as well as action plans • Researches, identifies, and secures vendor partnerships when required * * Leadership • Selects, develops, motivates, and retains a team of high quality recruiters and recruiting coordinators who are credible with hiring managers • Provides performance feedback and coaching to team members on a regular basis • Sets recruiting strategy for hiring diverse and military candidates, which is aligned with business objectives. Measures results and creates action plans
*Education * • Bachelor’s degree required • Advanced degree preferred
Years of Experience • At least 5 years experience as a senior recruiter and/or recruiting manager; management experience preferred, managing a team of five or more
** *Required Skills * • Ability to provide thought leadership and influence, and maintain collaborative partnerships • Highly results-oriented; motivated by service levels and efficiency, metrics oriented • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficient analytical skills to develop reports, draw insights, and create/implement action plans • Demonstrated strengths in selecting, managing, and developing team members • Superior organizational and time management skills; able to effectively multi-task • Strong business acumen • Working knowledge of human resources laws and practices • Ability to make recommendations to senior management to improve efficiency/effectiveness of recruiting services • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products
*Preferred Skills * • Experience driving process improvements and results • Strong presentation skills • Proficiency with social media platforms (FaceBook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) • Trained in diversity awareness and inclusion, with the ability to apply strategies to attract and hire qualified diverse candidates
