Looking for City of Chicago Licensed Stationary Engineer to perform the following duties:

-Operate, repair, and maintain facility equipment such as HVAC, boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration system, pumps, fans, exhaust systems, chillers, cooling towers, blenders, processing and packaging equipment.

-Ensure the operation of plant machinery utilizing both electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment

-Controls downtime through necessary repairs and parts replacement,

-Provides mechanical maintenance information by informing production workers of routine techniques

-Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, AC drives, and PLCs is a plus

-Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and USDA regulations preferred

-Work on machinery that involves centrifugal pumps, tanks, ovens, chillers, boilers, vacuum pumps, palletizers, mixers, agitators and small packaging/bottling machines.

-Maintain production facility and equipment, with a Safety-minded attitude by

-Working both indoor and outdoor

-Must have City of Chicago Stationary Engineers License

-2nd (2pm-10:30pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6:30am), just be available for OT and weekends
