The Technical Analyst is an entry level IT infrastructure role, responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing upgrades and enhancements, configuring and fine tuning Middleware and Oracle EBS technologies. This role affords team members the opportunity to rotate across our many IT functions and begin to determine which areas to grow careers.
Responsibilities: * Analyzes, evaluates, designs, develops, implements, patches, upgrades, configures, and tunes Middleware and Oracle EBS technologies as well as other assigned applications * Prevents downtime, increases system availability, monitors performance, manages data and/or ensures data integrity * Gathers, evaluates, and measures data on performance/capacity and reports on key measurements * Provides support for custom interface development * Proactively identifies problems and provides solutions to management before implementing corrections * Prepares and updates documentation for new and modified systems, environments, hardware and software or databases * Works with internal IT and business personnel as well as external B2B partner technical staff * Ensures projects meet all business, technical and development specifications * Participates in product evaluation, product installation, and product upgrade efforts. Installs and configures hardware and software products, as well as new standards and procedures * Performs additional responsibilities as assigned /EOE including disability/veteran/
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Basic SQL, C , Java, .Net, C# skills
- Application Development and coding knowledge
- Understanding and/or experience in technical support and testing
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 1-2 years of IT experience a plus
- Familiarity with HPUX or Linux and networking as relates to integration software a plus
