ICP Group Strategic Account Manager, OEM Roofing in Cleveland, Ohio

ICP Group is looking to hire a Strategic Account Manager for ICP’s Roofing and Waterproofing division.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and fostering strong relationships to drive revenue growth in the OEM roofing/building materials sector, on a national basis.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Strategic Account Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated key accounts, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.

    Sales Strategy and Planning:

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the building materials industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends, staying ahead of competitors and positioning the company as a preferred supplier.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas and develop actionable insights.

    Negotiation and Contract Management:

    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage contract renewals and amendments, proactively addressing any issues or concerns to maintain long-term partnerships.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Provide exceptional customer service and support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
  • Anticipate customer needs and preferences, proactively recommending product solutions and value-added services to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

    Sales Performance and Reporting:

    • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and prepare regular reports to track progress against targets and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to optimize performance and drive continuous growth.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in strategic account management and sales, preferably within the OEM roofing/building materials industry.

  • Strong understanding of construction market dynamics, trends, and customer requirements.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop innovative solutions.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • This role has national responsibility.  Ability for regular travel is required.
