Columbus Regional Hospital Business Intelligence Analyst - Associate in Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about the Business Intelligence Analyst position:

  • Columbus Regional Health’s Information Services department focuses on developing and maintaining reliable, innovative systems for our end users to have the best user experience possible.

  • As a Business Intelligence Analyst for Infor ERP, you will work with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization to assess business needs and to prepare business requirements/specs/diagrams for the functional requirement and general scope of work tied to our ERP (Infor) functionality.

  • This role also serves as a liaison between internal stakeholders and our development teams, helping to lead department projects and mentor lesser-experienced Business Analyst staff.

  • The annualized salary range for this position is between $72,155 and $115,315. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.

  • The scheduled shift for this position will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday; hours may vary based on project work or support needs.

  • This position is 100% remote.

What the optimal Candidate would bring:

  • Associate’s degree in health science, computer science, business, or related field required or a certificate with three (3) years of experience in a health-related or IS-related field is required.

  • Two (2) years of industry-related experience (healthcare, information systems, business systems, or other applicable areas) is required.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards in Infor ERP's HRT/WFM/Finance/SCM modules and in Birst, d/EPM, Power BI, or SSRS.

  • Strong understanding of LPL

  • Experience using Infor's Config Console and other system tools

  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting needs.

  • Experience with the development of Infor IPA's via IPD

  • Possess report writing skills (SQL, HTML, Java)

  • Work with the business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across different systems and data sources.

  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable reporting solutions.

  • Strong understanding of technical capabilities to help solicit and drive discussion

  • Strong understanding of data and how it moves between systems (mapping/integration)

  • Ability to communicate effectively and to collaborate in a remote environment

  • Innovative thinker who can see the big picture and help coordinate problem-solving efforts

  • Responsible for establishing credibility at all levels and building partnerships with customers and colleagues.
