Job Description:

Reporting to the Associate Director for Employer Relations, the Employer Events Coordinator connects with employers on a daily basis with the primary responsibility of managing all career expos/fairs and other UCC events as needed. Additional responsibilities include coordinating employer involvement in various networking and recruiting activities and assisting with the marketing and promotion of all employer events. The Employer Events Coordinator will be expected to work as part of a team, often working in conjunction with other staff members to execute targeted events.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in business, human resources, higher education, or related fields.

  • Experience in event planning, marketing

  • Strong relationship management, project management, communication, organization, and marketing skills.

  • Experience utilizing relationship management databases such as Handshake, Symplicity, or eRecruiting.

  • Knowledge of basic design principles and design software is a plus
