Know, follow, and support all plant policies, practices, safety rules and USG Model Safety programs. Ensure that associates on the crew follow plant policies, practices and safety rules.
Supervision of storeroom employees and storeroom functions.
Demonstrate the ability to write VWIs and ensure that the necessary VWIs are written, updated as needed and followed.
Ensure accurate recordkeeping in Kronos and MP2.
Maintain effective communication with plant personnel and vendors.
Responsible for directing and supervising daily activities of the Storeroom.
Responsible for purchasing of plant materials.
Monitor associates to ensure compliance with all applicable safety practices and company procedures. Participate in investigations regarding performance and conduct issues.
Use Directions and Coaching skills to drive engagement in the operation.
Must demonstrate safe working habits and have a good personal safety performance.
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.
Must be able to use the plant’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Must be able to use Oracle system. Experience with requisitioning and purchasing functions are a plus.
Previous supervision experience is a plus.
Must be knowledgeable of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Able to be a self-starter and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision.
Must demonstrate good attendance.
