Moore's Electrical & Mechanical Construction, Inc. Commissioning Helper/Apprentice in Danville, Virginia
Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commissioning Team as a Commissioning Helper. Ideal candidates should have mechanical aptitude and be prepared to learn the different aspects of HVAC system startups. This position is an entry level role where individuals will learn all aspects of HVAC system startups including installation of condensate lines, wiring of equipment, installation of copper piping, installation of VRF systems and more.

Responsibilities:
Cut and drill holes in floors and/or walls
Retrieve tools and materials for Technicians
Clean and prepare materials for installation
Work with Technician to install materials; learn the procedures and processes for system startups
Keep work area clean
Commitment to safety and following established protocols
Willingness to pursue apprenticeship in HVAC
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
HVAC education or experience a plus
Great personality, positive attitude, sense of humor, and a tremendous work ethic
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Good physical condition with the ability do the following:
Lift up to 85 pounds
Work in high locations with the ability to climb ladders
Work in cramped, awkward or confined spaces with the ability to kneel, bend, crouch, or stoop for prolonged periods of time
Complete repetitive overhead tasks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Must be willing to travel and posses a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
