The Accounting Director position is responsible for accounting activities related to Month-end Close and financial reporting, account analysis and documentation for BrightSpring Health Services operations, in particular Amerita Home Infusio NOTE: This position is remote within the US, but the Director will need to be onsite in Denver for month-end close. There will also be additional travel to Denver for training/ onboarding. Responsibilities

Leads and supervises monthly close process and assists & supports monthly, quarterly, and annual audit requirements Supervises accounting staff of 4-6 team members Reviews and approves reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements to ensure that they are prepared properly and follow-up on any unusual items Primary Amerita liaison for Sarbanes-Oxley across all corporate functions and is responsible for ensuring all finance department internal controls are properly documented and followed Works with internal and external audit to complete testing on these controls Prepares the company's revenue and bad debt reserve analyses and leads review discussions with senior management Ensures monthly and/or quarterly updates of all accounting estimates, including reserves, are completed Oversees maintenance of systems and controls that verify the integrity of systems, processes, and data Evaluates and makes appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes, ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization Provides ad hoc analysis and support to parent company leadership and Amerita senior management Maintains relationships with internal and external auditors Manages Accounts Payable personnel, vendor relationships as necessary in the position, and transaction/ invoicing requirements to maintain timely and accurate payments Reports to management on variances from the established budget and the reasons for those variances Ensures that all general ledger accounts are reconciled to subsidiary records on a monthly basis Communicates key information to top executive management Leads and directs work of others Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business required Master's degree in accounting or finance preferred CPA required Big 4 public accounting firm experience preferred 7-10 years in Accounting, including 2-3 years managing a high performing accounting team Knowledge of general accounting and US GAAP required Strong written and verbal communication skills required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and related accounting software required Outstanding financial reporting and analytical skills required Knowledge of...
