Machining company in Denver, PA is looking for a CNC Mill Operator. Multi-generation family owned company with a great culture. Four day work week with optional overtime available on Fridays!

CNC Mill Operator

1st shift: 6am -4:30pm, Mon - Thurs

Job Summary:

Work under the supervision of the Shop Supervisor or Department Lead Person. This person is able to set-up and operate one or more CNC Mills. Also able to perform various operations, such as turning, facing, boring, threading, and drilling. Is able to use various measuring instruments, such as micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gages, and scales to ensure proper sizes are machined.

• Read and interpret basic drawings and sketches.

• Can read measuring tools to the .001” graduation (Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators, etc.).

• Can make adjustments to the machine and produce parts to the specified tolerances.

• Performs basic set-up procedures in a Chuck or Collet.

• Performs Download and Upload of part programs.

• Selects the proper cutting tools per the program set-up sheet.

• Possess a basic knowledge of Shop Math.

This is a contract for hire opportunity. Candidates with good performance, attendance, and attitude can expect to be hired on at the end of the contract period
