We do this by engineering, designing, manufacturing, supplying and field servicing formwork and elevated slab shoring systems for concrete construction.

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to be located at our CPI Manufacturing Plant in Des Moines, IA. Shift is 4:00pm - 12:30am, Monday - Friday.

Duties:

• Diagnose problems in electronic controls.

• Diagnose problems in robot controllers.

• Repair or replace electronic controls.

• Repair or replace robot controls.

• Diagnose problems in hydraulic-operated machinery.

• Diagnose problems in mechanically operated machinery.

• Diagnose problems in electrical motor control circuits.

• Repair or replace hydraulic components, hoses, valves, cylinders, etc.

• Repair or replace gears, shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains, etc.

• Repair or replace electrical components, relays, solenoids, switches, etc.

• Bend and install conduit and/or Sealtite.

• Pull electrical wiring and terminate.

• Cut and thread water, gas, and air piping.

• Assemble threaded, soldiered, and plastic piping systems.

• Move heavy equipment, presses, shears, drills, office furniture, etc.

• Drive mobile equipment, forklifts, straight truck, tractor, hyd. crane.

• Diagnose and repair printed circuit board.

• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

• Inspect and service cranes, forklifts, and other items needed.

• Record labor accurately.

• Perform quality audit process and update workorder with notes upon job completion.

• Clean up work area where work was performed.

• Clean and organize shop daily.

  Requirements:

• AA Degree in computer/industrial electronics or documented education in schematics, integrated circuits, and micro electronic processed.

• If no formal education, must pass a test to validate skills.
