The Engineering Technician supports production according to the needs of the company. The areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Robot Programming, PLC troubleshooting, Machine Recipe Management, Ignition Programming and Maintenance, and AGV system troubleshooting. Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Complete work orders to assist production.
• Maintain equipment related to the primary assigned role.
• Assist team members in their primary assigned roles.
• Provide technical support and training.
• Ensure high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Available to work overtime without notice.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• A solid understanding of basic engineering concepts.
• Basic computer skills and a solid knowledge of mathematics.
• Able to wear a respirator when required.
• Must have good written, organizational, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exemplify safe work practices and follow the company's compliance standards.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Punctual and hard worker.
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop and/or kneel for long periods of time.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 3 years' experience programming PLC's, Fanuc Paint Robots, or Ignition.
• Knowledge of safe electrical practices.
• 1 year experience using Lean Manufacturing Tools.
