Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Assistant Senior Director of Performance Analytics in Durant, Oklahoma
Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for all outcome and Measurement reporting for assigned areas. You will be a partner with assigned work groups and will facilitate data-driven decision-making. You will ensure that their team is providing insightful and impactful analysis of operational metrics and financial performance and generating analysis that is consumed by and useful to the areas they support. This position reports to the Senior Director of Performance Analytics.
Primary Tasks:
You will review overall performance of financial and main success metrics of Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma Commerce activities including: Gaming, Convenience Stores, Grocery Stores and Agriculture.
Ensure summary analysis-based recommendations are accurate and insightful.
You will meet with assigned Business owners to review information and apply results to future planning.
Present Monthly Financial Summary Packages for Executive and Business owner leadership groups.
You will help with the Annual Budgeting process
Work with partner management teams to ensure they have complete understanding of available reporting and identifies reporting gaps.
You will conduct additional ad hoc analysis based on important findings from overall Measurement reviews.
Train direct reports in usage of Business Intelligence resources, and performance analysis requirements.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field and six (6) years’ experience planning and analysis in gaming or other business-related field operated by the tribe, OR ten [10] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, Graphing, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to maintain organization and has integrity.
Ability to analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Six (6+) years’ experience planning and analysis in Gaming or other business-related field operated by the Tribe.
