Instructor/Associate Director of Bands

?Southeastern Oklahoma State University\'s department of Music invitesapplications for the positionof Instructor/Associate Director of Bands. This position will be a non-tenured, 10-month appointment. The successful candidate will conduct the University Band and Jazz Band, assist with the Marching Band, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music education.

The successful candidate will work with the Director of Bands to meet departmental and university needs, conduct the University Band and Jazz Band, assist with the Marching Band, write marching band drill, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in music education, collaborate with colleagues on instrumental recruitment and outreach, and other courses/duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Music. This position also requires service on departmental committees, attendance at faculty meetings, and some night and weekend obligations.
