Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for an Associate Order Management Representative at our East Chicago, IN office. As an Associate Order Management Representative at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you will be part of a global team making steel that goes into products that are visible all around you. The Associate Order Management Representative is responsible for processing customer purchase orders.Summary of Responsibilities:

• Understand customer purchase order, contract, and/or part specification sheet requirements and how the information is applicable to the production of the steel.

• Enter orders using appropriate technologies into various entry systems.

• Review and check orders for discrepancies and/or errors while maintaining the relationship between the order and the SAP sales order, updating where appropriate.

• Develop knowledge of internal business processes and systems.

• Process customer order changes that impact the manufacturing/processing or shipment of the steel.

• Review and resolve order issues with internal stakeholders.

• Understand specific plant capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years relevant work experience or bachelor’s degree.

• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

• Ability to demonstrate time management and organization skills.

• Effectively communicates with team internally and externally.

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Order entry/processing experience

• Knowledge in SAP

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams
