Element Solutions Inc is a leading specialty chemicals company whose businesses supply a broad range of solutions that enhance the products people use every day.Job PurposeManages Maintenance personnel and department.Job ResponsibilitiesManages Maintenance personnel and department throughput. Prepares and analyzes reports for various department managers. Coordinates with various departments to schedule maintenance repairs, improvement projects and equipment installs. Promotes MacDermid policies and demonstrates a proactive commitment towards improving the facility EH&S standing as well as addressing ISO 9002, ISO 14001, safety and regulatory compliance requirements.Assists Engineering and EH&S with all phases of project development and implementation. Works with other department supervisors as well as operators on process improvement suggestions. Adjusts work schedule to fit the requirements of the project, task, and/or production demands etc. Assists maintenance mechanics when workload dictates.Works with department personnel in regards to personal and professional development. This includes performance reviews, training and discipline.Requirements & QualificationsPrevious experience in Industrial Maintenance as a department supervisor or leader, preferably in chemical processing or surface finishing.
