Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Temporary Buyer to join our team in the window manufacturing company. The main focus of the job will be to handle our company’s procurement needs and ensure the cost-effective purchase of all materials and services as required by the procurement schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate suppliers through review bids, product quality, and delivery times to ensure they meet our company standards.

• Negotiate contracts with main suppliers and manage multiple contracts.

• Purchase raw materials, machinery, equipment, and other supplies required for the production process.

• Work closely with the production department to determine their supply needs.

• Conduct regular price comparison to ensure that the company is getting the best price for each product that is purchased.

• Maintain and update the supplier database, list of products, and inventory.

• Recommend potential improvements in the procurement process to senior management.

• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply issues which may affect production.

• Initiate and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Adhere to all procurement regulations and procedures during the purchasing process.

  Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in procurement or purchasing in a manufacturing setting.

• Strong negotiation skills and a good eye for detecting market fluctuations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.

• Analytical mindset combined with strong decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and good record-keeping ability.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
