As a Renewable Energy Intern, you will be working directly with project team members and will have the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge with hands-on experience. We are seeking passionate individuals who have a desire to continue their future in Renewable Energy construction.

Please note this is a paid internship. Office location is at our headquarter office Fort Worth, TX .

Responsibilities:

• Assist Field/Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents

• Attend project meetings with project personnel, operations management team, and client/owner representatives

• Conduct safety audits and quality audits

• Read and understand drawings and specifications

• Log submittals, process RFI’s and prepare reports

• Coordinate material deliveries and documentation

• Assist in preparing memos, letters, meeting minutes, contracts, and other forms and documents

• Assist with estimating and soliciting subcontractors and/or suppliers for information and pricing

• Assist with all project documentation and data entry tasks

• Assist with the coordination and communication with subcontractors and vendors

• Represent AUI with the highest standard of professionalism at all times

• You will provide a presentation to the management team at the end of your internship to provide insight into your experience.

• Perform other duties as needed

• May be required to travel to jobsites.

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or renewable energy/electrical engineering.

• A desire to continue pursuing a career in the construction industry (Renewable Energy preferred)

• Strong computer skills are a necessity

• Coachable and willing to learn

• Can work in a team or individually

• Be available to work full-time during the internship period and travel/relocate to job sites (Per diem offered when travel is required)

• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions

• Valid Driver’s License and state minimum auto insurance required as you may have to travel to a jobsite

• Reliable transportation required
