Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Inventory Accounting Manager in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This role is integral to the functioning of the factory environment, as it involves managing all facets of factory inventory, operational data, and facility accounts payable system. The successful candidate will supervise Accounting and Inventory Control Coordinators, ensuring the smooth running of daily tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to the Accounting and Inventory Control Coordinators

• Train, develop, and review performance of team members

• Track, compile, and audit operationally related data including but not limited to inventory, production, and labor utilization

• Ensure timely completion and distribution of the Daily Report

• Organize and manage quarterly physical inventory counts

• Perform audits of production and conduct physical spot checks

• Gather operational data including pallet, waste, and regrind tickets

• Manage the entry of daily production into accounting software systems, including adjustments

• Reconcile shipping slips and supporting documentation

• Participate in plant Traceability Team

• Compile weekly summary reports and report to management

• Conduct month end reconciliations, entries, pricing, and shrinkage

• Assist with compiling sample run information on a timely basis

• Create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement

Skills:

• Proficiency with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Experience with Annual Physical Inventory

• Proficiency in Inventory Reconciliation

• Experience in Inventory Analysis

• Knowledge of Inventory Reports

• Experience in Inventory Planning & Reporting

• Understanding of Inventory Variance Requirements • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the Accounting field.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) is desirable.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions.

• Prior experience in Auditing.

• Expertise in Billing Functions is crucial.

• Experience in conducting Annual Physical Inventory.

• Proficiency in Inventory Reconciliation.

• Experience in Inventory Analysis.

• Ability to generate Inventory Reports.

• Familiarity with Inventory Planning & Reporting.

• Experience in managing Inventory Variance.
