We are seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a passion for delivering high-quality service. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

salary: $62,400 - $83,200 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of engine parts.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and associated systems.

• Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines and components to identify potential problems and recommend repairs or replacements.

• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose issues and verify repairs.

• Complete repair work efficiently and effectively to minimize downtime for our fleet.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
