We are looking for a Maintenance Manager. This position will be based in Hingham, MA.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for equipment's maintenance.

  • Plans and proposes maintenance budgets, and decides respective prioritization in maintenance operation.

  • Contributes to design, layout, realization and/or optimization of technical infrastructure.

  • Leads collaboration with external suppliers and maintenance service providers.

  • Leads plant training programs for maintenance personnel.

  • Ensures tasks are completed in accordance with Siemens EH&S policies and OSHA regulations.

  • Leads teams of Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians in predictive & preventative maintenance and machine repair.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and day to day supervision of maintenance systems, processes and documentation associated with efficient and Robust Manufacturing Organizations (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, TPM, OEE, SOP’s, Safety, etc.).

  • Ensures maintenance is scheduled in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.

You will win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in mechanical, or related engineering degree

  • 5-8 years experience leading a maintenance team including general manufacturing practices, manufacturing engineering

  • Detailed knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, inventory and scheduling software, preferred.

  • Experience with lean manufacturing tools and processes.

  • Experience in ERP systems, ex: SAP

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Lean principles and practices.

  • Knowledge and experience of Total Productive Maintenance systems.

  • Understand tolerances (GD&T), both Metric and Standard measurement systems

  • Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.

  • The pay range for this position is $132k-$170K with a 10% Incentive.. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
