Description
Are you a practical Accounting Supervisor with a knack for establishing and regulating an organization's accounting and finance procedures? You will take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. This is an onsite position located in the Honolulu, Hawaii area, this Accounting Manager position would be on a permanent basis. Responsibilities
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet close deadlines
Provide regular review and analysis of balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, which includes system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
Foundational knowledge in year end closings
Strong familiarity with month end closings
Financial Statement experience required
Annual Internal Audit experience highly desired
Comprehensive knowledge of Analyze Financial Statements
Customer service oriented communication skills
Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
Advanced credentials such as a Masters of Business Administration / MBA or Certified Public Accountant / CPA are preferred
Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities
5+ years of recent relevant financial experience
Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
