Job Title:Electronic Technician FLSA:Non-Exempt Clearance:Secret Location:On-siteRedstone Arsenal Job Type:Full-time

NTA, Inc. is seeking an entry level Electronic Technician with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and fabricate complex wiring harnesses and printed circuit boards (PCB). Duties include reading wiring diagrams and electronic schematics for cables, general electromechanical assembly, building and setting up test equipment, preparing and conducting performance verification, and acceptance testing of navigation systems. This position supports the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) in missile and aviation system research and development.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, and a Certificate or an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology or related discipline from an accredited institution
  • 0 - 3 years of experience

Required:

  • Experience with power supply circuitry and basic electronic skills
  • Experience using electronics equipment
  • Experience troubleshooting basic electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience documenting protype configuration and collecting test data
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel (10% or less)

Desired:

  • Experience working in a remote test environment with generator or battery powered inverters
  • Detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and capable of handling multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
