Canvas Inc. SharePoint Administrator in Huntsville, Alabama

Job Title: SharePoint Administrator

Location: Huntsville, AL (Hybrid)

Canvas is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to support CCDC AvMC SRD! The selected candidate must live within a 30-mile radius of Huntsville, AL in order to commute to the office as needed. This position is contingent upon award.

Duties:

  • Ability to develop sound solutions to complex problems, produce system level reports, report status to Senior level Management.

  • Resolve SharePoint permissions and Site Collection Administrative level issues through creative solutions.

  • Maintain the availability of customer data and systems.

  • Configure and maintain SharePoint API's and Power application.

  • Create clear and concise process documentation.

  • Resolve escalated tier 3 trouble tickets.

  • Provide design, development, implementation, and analyst support leveraging SharePoint and Microsoft BI tools and capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot problems experienced by SharePoint users and conduct collaborative meetings to resolve problems with the platform.

  • Advise and provide guidance and technical assistance on routine, and emergency maintenance matters.

  • Develop Web parts, Features, User Controls, Event Receivers and Packaged Solutions in SharePoint that meet the client's requirements and constraints.

  • Utilize data visualization and innovative BI tools, to ensure data is easily consumable, provides a clear story, and enables opportunity for action with stakeholders.

  • Build workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, and PowerApps/Flow.

  • Analyze business processes identifying areas of redundancy, potential for re-use and consolidation, and process conflicts

  • Provide input into SharePoint technologies training and best practice guidance documentation as needed.

Requirements:

  • Various combinations of education and experience levels will be considered, such as

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 5+ years of experience

  • Associate's degree in related discipline and 7+ years of experience

  • High School Diploma and 9+years of experience

  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 and 365.

  • Experience independently and effectively working with all levels of management within an organization.

  • Excellent customer service, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

  • Proficient in MS SharePoint, Report Builder, SQL, Server, SharePoint Designer, Power BI, and InfoPath environments desired.

  • Experience in the development and maintenance of Enterprise systems for the DoD desired.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) desired.

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
