This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing Intern, you will be responsible for: * • Collaboration among the global supply chain team, as well as daily interaction and partnership with our operations teams across the globe. * • Leading at least one project within each of the planning and purchasing departments. * • Contributing to Siemens Ultrasound FY24 goals and objectives, with special focus on ERP/ supply planning and implementation, inventory reduction and optimization, and distribution planning. * This position may suit you best if you're familiar with the following and would like to develop your skills with Siemens Healthineers: * • Experience or interest in data analytics, modeling, and visualization tools * • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative in their own work. * • Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information. * • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization. * • Managing multiple priorities between school, work, and extra-curricular activities * • Responds to change and ambiguity as a positive challenge. * • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) * • Significant level of multi-tasking and independent organization desired. * • Ability to analyze and interpret information and apply to business needs. * • Commitment to providing customer service. * • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
