Eaton Corporation Pricing Analyst in Jackson, Michigan

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst in Jackson, MI.This is a Hybrid role.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

Primary Function:

For assigned FED location(s), This position consists of data coordination, analysis, and research to develop pricing strategies based on product value and market factors in support of Division profit optimization. Works with Contracts, Customer Service and Finance to support customer fact finds, audits, and negotiations.

Essential Functions:

  • Proactively supportstrategic pricing initiatives for assigned customers/products to incorporate market and value pricing methodologies.

  • Evaluate historical data, competitive information and product features to develop customer/product specific pricing.

  • Prepare Long Term Agreement proposal sign-offs and negotiation objectives for management review.

  • Partner with Technical Support and Product Management in confirming product commerciality and competitive position for assigned product lines.

  • Serve as a cross-functional back-up to other Pricing Analysts including developing part pricing and key and valued customer quoting.

  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Required)This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Jackson, MI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a business-related field or Business setting

  • Degree in business, analytics, statistics, or engineering

  • MBA from an accredited institution

  • Aerospace industry knowledge

  • Fluid and electrical manufacturing/product knowledge

  • Strategic pricing experience in value and market pricing methodologies

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Excellent communication skills including experience drafting formal correspondence

  • Detail oriented, possessing good analytical skills; ability to anticipate problems & diffuse situations

  • Judgment, logic, resourcefulness and creativity abilities.

  • Effective teaming skills

  • Knowledge of standard cost accounting
